Event Description:
Are you aware the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) program provides federal tax credits to Ohio employers that hire individuals from one of several target groups; including veterans, public assistance recipients, restored citizens, individuals with disabilities, and others. Credits range from $1,200 to $9,600, based on the target group and the number of hours worked.

To learn more about this dollar-for-dollar tax-savings, join our Members Only, Lunch & Learn session with the Fayette Co. Chamber of Commerce. Michael Roush, Account Executive for the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) program in Ohio, will explain how to take advantage of this program.

Applying for WOTC is simple, and there is no limit to the number of new hires who may
qualify. Since October 2021, ODJFS has certified more than 100,000 applications. As a result, thousands
of Ohio employers have received more than $240 million in tax credits.
